Haelvoet continues to invest in sustainable energy
Sustainability is key at Haelvoet. Recently, 664 additional solar panels were installed on the roofs of the production halls.
This new installation, with an additional capacity of 298.8 kWp, significantly increases the self-generated energy.
At the end of 2019, solar panels had already been installed on the roofs of the office building and the high-bay warehouse, with a capacity of 225.70 kWp. Haelvoet uses 100% green electricity. Our own solar panel installation has a capacity of 525 kWp. Any additional electricity we purchase, when needed, comes from renewable energy sources.
This step is part of a broader sustainability strategy of Haelvoet and contributes to an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly production environment.
